Question by SINDY: Do you think an employer should have the right to dictate hairstyles worn in the workplace?

If yes, to what extent? Do you think hairstyles commonly thought/known to be worn by people of particular races should be a consideration? Do you think exceptions should be given to “ethnic hairstyles” to avoid accusations of discrimination? Do you think that employer preference, with regards to hairstyle, is ever an indication of racial discrimination?

I’m in the middle of answering a question concerning this issue, so I’m just curious as to what y’all think about the matter.

To what extent (if any) do you think an employer should be permitted to dictate hairstyles worn by employees?

Ok. I’m trying to find new hairstyles to use on my hair. I have long-ish naturally straight medium brown hair and it’s thick. i have some layers and i usually straighten it every morning because it kinda flips out at the bottom. I have bangs, but they are extremely long because i have yet to get my hair cut. I’m looking for more straight haristyles. And i’m not really looking for haircut advice. Does anyone have any suggestions or websites i can go to for instructions?

have it hanging straight and curled at the bottom, make a low tight bun keeping the front straight with gel or wax, make a top pony tail, curl the tail and hang the curls loosely around the pony tail.
